REPENT Nineveh! JUDGEMENT is at your door!

Greediness is setting in among corporate business owners, sitting at the top in our land of the free America. Expenses are rising on Americans 200%+. We are in tough times. Rather than helping each other out, we are forcing each other out of basic needs into poverty.

2021 NEW YEAR WORD - COLLABORATION

Words flowed and I thought they were for this blog post, but then as I wrote I realized this is for another book...So I’m keeping it close to my chest! Instead I’ll share with you a piece of it. An event, which will be in a future book, occurred in my life in 2019. Since then God gives me a hashtag word that guides me through the year. Each of these words build on the year before and when I follow them, breakthroughs happen. He uses them to guide me in direction where He wants me to go and backs them up with tons of Scripture. It’s quite the way to live!!

HOPEWRITERS CHALLENGE: DAY 3 - "Shine"

As part of a personal challenge to myself to write better,  I am joining Hope Writers Challenges! This is Day 3's writing for instagram. This picture is the result of one of those silly quizzes on Facebook. “If you were a cat 🐈 what would you look like?” When I first laid eyes on this picture, I instantly noticed the intensity and focus in this cat’s eyes and the light reflecting off the screen, illuminating her little face. Laying in those bed sheets, this is legitimately what I look like before bed or in the morning to write to people I know and people I never will meet in person face to face. To give them an ear to listen and any life wisdom I can share.  The last few years, I agonized over the fact I wasn’t writing in my blog anymore or writing something substantial in a substantial way. You know, the big time. Published.  I took some time this week to go back through the archives a...

THE RAPID DECLINE OF LOVE: When Politics Become The Idols of the Christian's Heart

THIS IS FROM A PUBLISHED ARTICLE ON MEDIUM. You may not agree with me on my political positions and I will not go into them too deeply, but I do hope that you will take a moment to listen as I break my own silence to share from my own perspective. As I write this, our capitol is stormed by protesters attempting to overtake the capitol. This is the most surreal moment of the history of my life. Though I can’t say I didn’t see this coming, my heart is heavy. My heart is disheartened by the behavior of Americans. Especially the church. Ones who stand up against this type of behavior when someone they don’t agree with does it. Justifying similar behavior for their own causes. To every action, there is a consequence or a blessing. In this case we are reaping consequences. “Americans, we are killing love.” In the midst of standing up for democracy, protesting our election results, and arguing with the media, we have forgotten LOVE. Love of our fellow man. Lo...

DISCIPLESHIP SERIES - The Relationship of the Trinity: Jesus Christ

The word  TRINITY  and the concept behind it is familiar to most Christians. However after MANY years of being a follower of Christ, God showed me something deeper about the Trinity. This truth may open the door for you to deeper understanding and clarity to the concept of the Trinity as it can be a difficult concept to comprehend.

DISCIPLESHIP SERIES- BIBLICAL STUDY: Methods and Application

The Key That Unlocks Understanding of Scriptures My husband and I have been traveling across the country in a big move so I am just now getting some time and wifi to make another lesson God placed on my heart and mind while we were in the middle of traveling. If you're new to Bible study as a Christian, you've been a Christian a very long time and been wanting to go deeper in your Biblical study, or if you're an unbeliever trying to understand Scripture this is for you.

DISCIPLESHIP SERIES -The Sowing of The Word

I hope you had a chance to read my first post in this blog. If you haven’t you can find it  HERE . Last time I wrote a foundational lesson on Scriptural/Biblical authority and the importance of it to our faith. I also touched on faith foundations and relationship with Jesus.

DISCIPLESHIP SERIES -The Foundations of Faith and Biblical Authority

Before we can even begin to align our lives with the Word of God, we must know the WHY we align ourselves with the Word of God. To understand this we have to examine first the word "faith".

Where 28 Finds Me

Hey guys! I was going to write a facebook post, but the wise husband saw my post getting quite lengthy and suggested I make a blog post instead. Smart man. :D Yesterday was my birthday. It started out a little rough waking up at 6am from repeated dings from my phone. All were text messages wishing me a happy birthday from my East Coast friends! Just gave me an extra early start to my day and I'm grateful I have friends who will wake me up at 6am one day out of the year!! :P I put on one of my favorite blue dresses that I bought from a ROSS last year and slipped on some jewelry paired with some brown leather sandals that I hadn't worn in awhile but matched the gold jewelry well! Finished up with some makeup and curling of my hair. I was so pleased with putting myself together so well and so quickly!  Then DISASTER struck. Of course it did. SOMETHING had to happen on this most special day haha. Getting out of the car and heading towards the building for a board meeting, I no...

Books, Authors, Doctors, and Commissary Conundrums

What a day! This morning a new friend in the military who I am getting to know picked me up to take me to a local church for an author speaking event. The book was one she came across and shared with me written by a wife and mom in the military named Carrie Daws. I connected so much with the author!  We had so much in common. From both of us having taken the Christian Writer's Guild writing program (she is the first I have ever met in my life who mentioned taking this! She was surprised to hear that I knew what it was!) AND has a daughter who struggles with weight, diet, exercise, etc because of how naturally petite she is.  She also has become a writer because of life circumstances and is an info junkie! Always reading something and absorbing information like a sponge. We are so alike! In so many ways I knew I was meant to be there to meet this woman. I got a chance to talk with her. She is so down to earth, homeschool mom, and EXPERIENCED with an incredible testimony. Sh...

Under Full Attack

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,    against spiritual  hosts  of wickedness in the heavenly  places.   ~ Ephesians 6:10-12 The last couple days have been EXTREMELY rough for me. Yes I had my victory with the doctor. I had a good day, but someone was not happy about that and has been attacking me from the time I woke up the next morning. Spiritual warfare is REAL. The past two nights I have had nightmares. I have noticed a pattern over the last few weeks of our greatest enemy Satan desperately targeting every weakness of my past and present. I have grown exhausted emotionally in just two short days. I've gone through a cycle of loss of appetite and then the temptations to...

Thankfulness in Simplicity

It's Thanksgiving day and 1 day till the infamous Black Friday across the nation. That ironic time between a day of expressed thankfulness surrounded by family and friends and the day where outrageous stories are told of people trampling over one another for the latest and greatest items on the shelves. Some even leaving their moments of thankfulness early to jump at door busting deals that lure us in like fish to bait. The ad leaking of stores all over has been invading my email inbox. I am signed up for something called Brad Deals, emails that get delivered to my inbox to keep me informed on the latest deals year around just in case I ever need something for myself or as a gift and can frugally find it for less.  This lets someone else do the research for me thus avoiding the wasting of precious time. I'm always a deal hunter and will hardly ever buy anything full price if I can help it.  There are several things we have realized we need. Practical items, not necessaril...
